Your
Hosts; Paul & Regis meet you in Glasgow
where we start our Winter Whisky Wonderland
Tour! We will head north via Perth to our
first stop of the tour;
Dewar's World of
Whisky. Here we will sample
Blended Whisky ... for much more detailed
whisky information
CLICK HERE
After Dewar's we are
driving north once more passing Dalwhinnie
Distillery on our left, the highest above
sea level, before passing through Inverness,
the Black Isle and Dingwall to
STRATHPEFFER
where we stay tonight;
THE BEN WYVIS HOTEL.
Plenty of time here to unwind and relax
before dinner. A good day ending with a dram
at the bar?

Day two
of our tour sees us driving west through
beautiful landscapes to
Ullapool,
where we will stop at the
Ceilidh Place
for eating, talking and mixing. We
make our way back to
THE BEN WYVIS HOTEL
where our WHISKY DINNER awaits.

A special day of whisky tasting
...as we travel to
Dalmore & Glenmorangie
distilleries for a tasting experience;
info
soon...
We will
spend the whole day exploring the local area
in between our two visits, with a stop for
lunch options en route. We return to the
THE BEN WYVIS HOTEL
where once again we enjoy dinner.
Castle Urquhart
is our first stop today, originally the site
of a Pictish fort dating back to a visit by
St Columba in 597. The first real evidence
of anything recognisable as a castle dates
back to the years following 1230, when
Alexander II crushed a revolt in the
province of Moray, to the north, and decided
to defend this strategic route. We take a
visit before moving to the
JACOBITE
boat for a sail along this famous loch,
towards Inverness.

We return
to the hotel, before dressing for dinner;
Abstract
Restaurant, Inverness. A superb
dinner awaits followed by a visit to a local
pub, the Castle Tavern with its excellent
whisky and local beers! Coach takes us back
to Strathpeffer for our final night there.
We start
our journey back to Glasgow but, not before
one final distillery;
GLENGOYNE. A Master Blender
Session awaits where you can create your
very own blended whisky! Guests are welcomed
with a dram of 10 year old Single Highland
Malt before enjoying a guided tour of the
distillery. After the tour guests are
invited in to our new state-of the-art
whisky 'Sample Room' where they can taste 'Langs
Select' blended whisky and award winning
Glengoyne 17 year old Single Highland Malt
whilst learning about the art of the Master
Blender. Guests will then have the
opportunity to create their own blend which
will be bottled in a 100ml sample bottle for
them to take home, along with a certificate.
WHAT AN END TO THE
TOUR!
